LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stephen King's books live rent-free in many people's minds. With their movie adaptation, the characters have got an identity. People relate to them. Both 'IT' and 'IT: Chapter 2' was a masterpiece, and they somewhere did justice to the books. After the success of the two movies, HBO Max announced an original series named 'Welcome to Derry'. The series is brought by franchise filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti with 'IT: Chapter 2' co-producer Jason Fuchs. The series has cast its first four actors including Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, James Remar, and Chris Chalk. The news of the cast list is making some rounds as fans are curious about a specific character. 

The plot of the series is not revealed, but the longline states, the series is set in the 'IT' universe and expands the vision established by Muschietti. Fans can expect the history of Derry, Maine, the small town that Pennywise the Clown's strange existence has plagued for decades from the series. Paige is a Spirit Award winner for 'Zola', while Adepo was Emmy-nominated for HBO’s 'Watchmen'. Chalk’s credits include HBO’s 'Perry Mason' and Remar is known for 'Dexter'.

Fans were excited about the news of a series remake, but the cast list has made them furious. With only four people revealed from the series and no description of who they are playing, fans have started a new chant of casting Bill Skarsgard. He played the role of the clown in the movies, and fans were quite impressed with his performance. After the announcement of the cast for the series, a fan pointed out, "So far so good, but there's still a big elephant in the room." A fan added, "Won’t watch it without bill skarsgard’d pennywise." While others added, "Don’t want if Bill isn’t Pennywise." A furious user writes, "We don't care if there is no Bill Skarsgard." A user pointed out the question of who will take on the Skarsgard character saying, "Who’s playing Pennywise if Bill isn’t coming back."A person wrote, "We won’t be watching." Another user gave out the solution of casting if Bill Skarsgård won't be cast in the series.
