KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Since the heartbreaking story of Ralph Yarl came to light, there have been strong reactions coming from all corners, including some popular celebrities. Actresses Viola Davis and Halle Berry have come forward to express their pain and support for the 16-year-old teenager. Yarl was shot in the head after mistakenly approaching the wrong house while trying to pick up his twin siblings. ‘The Woman King’ hitmaker started her post on Instagram with, “ALL HANDS ON DECK!! 🚨 PLEASE SEE ALL FRAMES 🙏🏾.”

She briefed her followers stating, “16-year-old #RalphYarl was going to pick up his two younger siblings from an unfamiliar address when he was shot in the head and again while on the ground by the white man that answered the door after he rang the wrong doorbell.” The 57-year-old also added, “Ralph is a junior in high school. He loves music and plays the bass clarinet. He is loved by his family and community and has a bright future. He didn’t deserve what happened to him. We won’t stand for it. We are coming for justice.”

Halle Berry on Sunday, April 16, shared the photo of Ralph Yarl, and captioned, “I’m sick and tired of this feeling…my heart completely broke when I learned this precious 16-year-old, who accidentally rang the door of the wrong address in an attempt to pick up his siblings, was shot in the head by a man who didn’t want him on his property. This innocent child is now fighting for his life. This could be your child. This should NOT happen. Please do something today!"

'...And the man shot him again'

On Yarl’s GoFundMe Page, created by his aunt Faith Spoonmore, she wrote, "He pulled into the driveway and rang the doorbell. The man in the home opened the door, looked my nephew in the eye, and shot him in the head. My nephew fell to the ground, and the man shot him again.”
