The 60-year-old singer and fashion designer revealed that she had been silently battling the disease since her diagnosis in 2015. After first noticing symptoms in 2012, she revealed doctors dismissed the shaking of her hand as "anxiety." It took three years for her to finally get the right diagnosis. Husband Terry Crews opened up to TODAY about their emotional journey, saying, "Well, I knew she was a superhero. And she had already went through cancer and defeated it... This is why you get married... This is the battle that we were designed to fight together. And that's the whole way I see it. Where she's weak, I'm strong. Where I'm weak, she's strong. And we built each other up like that for almost 37 years and all the way to forever. That's how we're doing it."
