Before the end of 2022, the sequel's filming came to a close, and now that it has, fans are eager to see what Warner Bros. and Villeneuve have in store for this highly awaited return to the Arrakis desert.

What happens in 'Dune Part 2' trailer?

It was announced during the 'Dune: Part Two' presentation at CinemaCon, the sequel was entirely shot for IMAX, making it the pinnacle of theatre experiences. Villeneuve, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya took the stage at the start of the presentation. Villeneuve hinted that the movie continues up just where Dune left off in 2021. Paul plays a student in the first movie, but transforms into a leader and the Freman's savior in the second, according to Chalamet. Since her role in the original movie was quite limited, says Zendaya, the plot also delves deeply into the developing love between Paul and Chani.

Villeneuve described Austin Butler's Feyd, one of the new characters, as a cross between an Olympic swordsman, a serial murderer, and Mick Jagger. Lea Seydoux, Florence Pugh, and Christopher Walken are added to the cast. Butler appears menacing in the trailer, which introduces all the new characters. Feyd is completely hairless, and his skin is bone white. Paul is also shown riding the sandworm, which appears to be one of the film's silliest set pieces. The majority of the trailer centers on this sequence. We also get a sneak peek at Paul and Feyd's showdown, which Chris claims gave him shivers.

As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource – a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s most tremendous potential – only those who can conquer their fear will survive."
