Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 extended episodes

The new 'The Walking Dead' episode titled 'Diverged' is set to be a Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) centric episode but there's one more important character who is a part of it. Daryl and Carol's relationship has been in hot water since Season 10 Episode 18 'Find Me' and so the new episode will be much appreciated.

We are to see how the duo decide to part ways as they can't see eye-to-eye anymore and how they decide to go into "survival mode" without each other's help. The other featured character we're also excited to see is Gardener Jerry (Cooper Andrews).

We know that Jerry was the right-hand man to King Ezekiel as they ran the Kingdom together. They then relocated to the Hilltop along with Jerry's wife, Nabila, and their kids. 'Find Me' saw Carol reveal that Jerry was now taking up responsibility in Alexandria, and the teaser for 'Diverged' also attests to that considering he is seen tending to gardens among other chores at the faction's base. Read on to find out how Jerry plays an important part in the new episode.

Jerry plays important role in Carol's life

'Diverged' sees Jerry finding out that something is wrong when Carol returns to Alexandria with Dog in tow but without Daryl. The teaser also sees Jerry and Carol working together on things as he tells her to let her know that she's there for him.

The duo already has a history consider that Carol was married to Ezekiel. Their relationship wasn't highlighted too much in the previous episode, so, even if for a bit, we're happy they have screen time together. It makes us wonder if Jerry will be the one that will help Carol patch things up with Daryl.
