'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 17 Preview: Maggie is back to a 'free' Negan, but will she forgive him?
Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead'
The hit zombie thriller 'The Walking Dead' is set to bring us all the answers we need, especially the one question everyone has — where was Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan)? The episode is said to take us deeper into the drama that would involve Maggie and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). It's hard to say if Negan is a changed man, but it makes sense that Maggie hasn't forgiven him. We're yet to forgive him for Glenn Rhee's (Steven Yeun) horrific murder.
'Home Sweet Home', the first episode of The Walking Dead's bonus episodes for Season 10 was released on Sunday, February 21, 2021, on AMC+, but will make its premiere on the AMC network on February one week ahead of its Sunday, February 28, premiere on AMC. These bonus episodes are a treat to fans of the AMC series, and while fans of the comics are ready to see more on the Commonwealth, we have to say Maggie's story is more intriguing. Read on to see how Season 10 Episode 17 'Home Sweet Home' will give us all the information we need.

What is 'Home Sweet Home' about?
The synopsis of the episode reads, "Maggie has returned and she has a story she is not ready to share, even when her past catches up to her. The unimaginable trials she endured since leaving has made her harder in order for her and her son to survive. This concerns Negan, who was finally in better standing and now his safety is at stake again. Maggie has not forgotten nor forgiven him. Daryl and Maggie respect each other as they unexpectedly fight an unseen and unknown threat."
We saw Maggie have mercy on Negan way back in Season 9 when she had visited him in prison, now we're not so sure she's going to let him get away, well, because he's not in prison anymore. Negan's character has changed quite a bit, especially since Alpha was the lead villain for a while, and Maggie has missed it all this while. So, what she sees is the same old Negan. While we're not too keen on re-visiting Maggie's hate for Negan, it seems only right for her to react this way, but we're hoping the new episode gives us more than Maggie's resentment.
The trailer also sees Negan as a different man than he was when the Saviors had a conversation with his old brutal self. This, to many, might be interesting only because Negan was cruel back then, just because he could be. Could there be more to this backstory than rage?
