What better way than to bring in the spooky month of Halloween, with a horror film? But what's even better---a horror-comedy, for those who don't want to actually be frightened on this day. Well, there's something coming your way! 

Netflix is all set with its latest flick, 'Vampires Vs The Bronx',  a horror-comedy that follows a group of teenagers on a harrowing quest. According to the official synopsis, 'Vampires vs. the Bronx' is a horror-comedy that follows a group of teenagers who resort to the most unconventional of methods to rid themselves of ghosts. When gentrification from an unlikely and deadly source creeps into the Bronx, a group of teenage friends rally to save the beloved local bodega and fight against a supernatural force intent on taking over their home at all cost."

Sarah Gadon

Canadian actress Gadon is best known for her role on 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?', 'Mutant X', and 'Dark Oracle'. Her work in 'A Dangerous Method', 'Cosmopolis', 'Enemy', 'Belle' and 'Dracula' is widely recognized as well. Gadon co-starred in the supernatural thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax and portrayed a young Elizabeth II in the comedy A Royal Night Out. Later she starred as Sadie Dunhill in the Hulu miniseries 11.22.63, an adaptation of Stephen King's novel 11/22/63. Gadon has received numerous accolades, including three Canadian Screen Awards for 'Alias Grace', 'Enemy' and 'The Great Darkened Days'.

Chris Redd

Comedian and actor Redd is best known for his work on 'Saturday Night Live' as a cast member. His work on 'Disjointed', 'Big Mouth', 'Teachers', 'Will & Grace' and 'Star vs. the Forces of Evil' is also recognized.

Shea Wigham

Whigham is best known for his work on 'Boardwalk Empire, the first season of 'True Detective', the third season of 'Fargo'. His movie credits also include the role of Agent Michael Stasiak in Fast & Furious and Fast & Furious 6. Between 2012 and 2017 he had several movie roles, such as 'The Wolf of Wall Street', 'American Hustle', 'Silver Linings Playbook', 'Term Life', and 'Kong: Skull Island'. In 2018, he appeared in the films 'Sicario: Day of the Soldado', 'First Man', and 'Bad Times at the El Royale' and in 2019, 'Joker' as GCPD Detective Burke. He also starred in the television series 'Homecoming' alongside Julia Roberts for which he was nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. In 2020 he was cast as Pete Strickland on HBO's reimagining of Perry Mason.


 The Kid Mero and Method Man are a part of the cast. Besides, Vladimir Caamaño plays Papo, Jaden Michael plays Miguel Martinez, Gregory Diaz IV appears as Luis Acosta, Gerald W Jones III as Bobby Walker, Coco Jones as Rita and Adam David Thompson appears as Alexis.

'Vampires vs. the Bronx' is directed by Osmany Rodriguez, written by Rodriguez and Blaise Hemingway, and produced by Lorne Michaels, Erin David, Bert Hamelinck, and Michael Sagol.

'Vampires Vs The Bronx' will begin streaming on Netflix, on October 2. Begin the month of Halloween on a happy note.
