Ural Glanville: Judge in Young Thug’s trial in focus as he brings service dog to court
FULTON COUNTY, GEORGIA: Judge Ural Glanville is currently serving at the Superior Court of Fulton County, and as a Chief Judge of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit.
He is currently presiding over the high-profile YSL trial involving the 32-year-old rapper Young Thug, who is facing charges of conspiring to murder, armed robbery, and participating in criminal street gang activity along with his five co-defendants.

Prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia, have accused YSL of serving as a front for a notorious street gang that has reportedly wreaked havoc on Atlanta for more than a decade.
Jeffery Lamar Williams, aka Thug, is identified as the leader of the YSL (Young Stoner Life) organization and is charged with violating Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and gang laws.

The trial, which is expected to last up to a year, had a rather humorous start on Monday, November 27, with Judge Glanville’s service dog, Jack, who stayed beside him in the courtroom. The honorary judge cautioned before the opening statements were made that the jury may be distracted by his dog moving around the courtroom.
What did Judge Glanville say before opening statements were recorded?
"Here behind me is this bell that starts jingling," the Judge said.
"And if you hear a jingling sound like a bell, please don't think that I'm doing anything creepy up here, alright? I have a service dog behind me. His name is Jack. I think some of you may have seen him already,” he added.
Judge Glanville continued, “He lives the best life ever. He's pampered, he's a Labrador Retriever and he's about two and a half, three years old at this point in time."
He explained, "If you hear that bell, that's him moving around. He doesn't bark. He rarely gets interested in what's going on so he might come up here and look but that's about it. Don't bring him any food either, okay? He is spoiled rotten. Please don't try to throw him any food back here behind me or anything like that. He doesn't need anything else."
Even though he once stole someone's lunch, Jack is one of the most beloved employees at the Fulton County Courthouse.
He shows up on time and takes his job seriously, despite the fact that many people are probably unaware he's there - at least until his presence is announced by the bell on his collar.
Internet says Jack the dog was the biggest takeaway from Monday’s trial
People were more interested in Jack than the updates coming out of the trial as he became an overnight sensation after being mentioned by Judge Granville himself at the start of the trial.
