'Unexpected' Preview: Jason doesn't approve of epidural and doesn't comfort Kaylen

If bringing a baby into the world is all about commitment and adjustments, Jason clearly didn't get the memo on that one

In the premiere episode of 'Unexpected', we get to see two teens who are soon-to-be parents. The two seem to have difficulties being on the same page. 

Jason was quite adamant about his 17-year-old girlfriend Kaylen having a homebirth just so that he could feel included. In addition, he is also completely against the mother of his child getting an epidural when she opts for a hospital birth. What's more, the arrogant 18-year-old doesn't even move a finger to comfort Kaylen when she's minutes from going into labor. Talk about immaturity at its finest.

Here's what fans have to say about the recent events in TLC's reality pregnancy show. 

One fan shared, "This jerk wants to tell her that she can’t get an epidural. Like, do you feel pain? No. Get out #unexpected", while another said, "Sweetie, your delivery is about you and the baby. If he gets pissed off, then oh the hell well! You and the child could die or have long term health problems if the delivery goes poorly. It is not about the father #unexpected". 

One fan tweeted, "I should probably not watch this unexpected show cos I’m getting pissed off at these boys endangering their pregnant girlfriends like this! Especially this Jason kid #unexpectedtlc #unexpected", while another said, "How dare he dictate whether she can have an epidural?! #Unexpected".

Will Jason have some kind of epiphany and change his ways? Does it look like he'll man up anytime soon? It sure looks like Kaylen is in for a tough time if her "boyfriend" doesn't pull up his socks. Let's wait and watch to see what happens.
