Tyler Perry never fails to deliver shows that so many have become invested in, and 'Tyler Perry's House of Payne', one of Perry's hit series, returns for its seventh season early September, exciting many fans of the comedic family. The network has released a promo for the season along with Perry's new series titled 'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' and it's safe to say that, that too will become binge-watch worthy. If you've followed the Payne family journey and are obsessed with Curis Payne like we are, here is all you need to know about the series' upcoming season.

Release date

'Tyler Perry's House of Payne' will premiere on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, with two half-hour episodes.

Plot

The official synopsis reads, "Tyler Perry's House of Payne,' returning for its seventh season, is a hilarious comedy about retired fire chief Curtis Payne (LaVan Davis) and his lovely wife Ella (Cassi Davis Patton) that picks up five years later, as they continue to navigate the problems of life with their quirky modern-day family."

Davis is an actor and a performer known for his roles as Otis Jenkins from 'Puff, Puff, Pass' (20016) and Leo from 'Madea Goes to Jail' (2006). He also has soundtrack credits from 'Daddy's Little Girls' (2007), 'Three Can Play That Game' (2007) and 'Black Dynamite' (2009).

Davis is known for her roles as Aunt Bam from 'A Madea Family Funeral' (2019), 'Madea's Big Happy Family' (2011) and 'Boo! A Madea Halloween' (2016). Her roles are prominent in many Tyler Perry production especially the Madea franchise.

The other cast members include Lance Gross as Calvin Payne, Demetria McKinney as Janine Payne, China Anne McClain as Jazmine Payne, Keshia Knight Pulliam as Miranda and Allen Payne as CJ Payne.

'Tyler Perry's House of Payne' is executive produced, written and directed by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed serves as executive producer for Tyler Perry Studios.

Trailer

The trailer for the series upcoming season is yet to be released, but BET has released a promo for it along with that of a new series titled 'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living'.
