'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' is an upcoming American television sitcom created and produced by Tyler Perry. The sitcom is set to premiere on BET on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. David Mann and Tamela Mann will reprise their roles from Tyler Perry's 'Meet the Browns'.

Release date:

'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' premiers on Wednesday, September 2, only on BET.

Plot

The story revolves around Jeremy, the family patriarch, and father of teenage kids who moves back to Georgia with his family, after losing his job. Jeremy decides to help his Grandpa Vinny, who has foolishly bought a terribly run-down home for the elderly - all signs indicating they both are a way in over their heads. However, Mr Brown and Cora show up in their lives at the right time as needy investors and make way for ample comedy as they run the home with Vinny.

Cast

'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' stars Na'im Lynn in the lead role of Jeremy. J Anthony Brown plays his ridiculously confident Grandpa Vinny, and David Mann joins the cast as Leroy "Mr Brown" Brown, with Tamela Mann as Cora Simmons. Courtney Nichole plays Jeremy's wife, Leah, who struggles to get their kids, Sandra and Philip, adjusted to their new life in Georgia. Tayler Buck plays Sandra and Alex Henderson rounds up the cast as Phillip.

Creator

Created by Tyler Perry Studios, Perry of course is the executive producer, writer and director. Michelle Sneed serves as the executive producer of the series for Tyler Perry Studios.
