'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living is an assortment of golden characters. There's a grouchy old grandpa who is way in over his head buying into tattered old homes, and then there's Jeremy, the father of two who decides to collaborate with his gramps on this absurd new venture after losing his own job and moving to Georgia. Perhaps the cherry on top is the very, very needy father-daughter duo of investors who, for some godforsaken reason, are desperate about indulging the old man's venture too. And if that's not entertaining enough, Perry's fans will be thrilled knowing all of these roles are being played by long time Perry collaborators whose comedic timing is so impeccable, there's no way you'd want to miss out on this upcoming BET sitcom. Take a look at all the familiar faces appearing in 'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' right here.

As the grouchy gramps Vinny, Brown is unmissable. The prolific writer and actor is known for titles like 'xXx: State of the Union' (2005), 'Drumline' (2002) and more recently, 'Think Like a Man' (2012).

Na'im Lynn

As the newly jobless father of two who moves with his wife and teenage kids to Georgia, there's more on Jeremy's plate than he can definitely chew. But does that stop him? Nope. Things are only made better by the fact that the seasoned comedian Lynn is playing the role. Known for 'Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain' (2011), 'Shameless' (2011) and 'All Def Comedy' (2017), Lynn is quite the impeccable choice for the sitcom.

David Mann

Long-time collaborator and part of everyone's beloved Perry persona Madea, Mann needs no introduction as he hops aboard as the relentless Mr. Brown, who wants to invest in Grandpa Vinny's outrageous venture. The character Mr. Brown can be seen played by Mann in other Perry productions like 'Meet the Browns' - both the 2008 movie and the 2009-2011 series, as well as 'Madea Goes to Jail' and 'Madea's Class Reunion'.

Tamela J. Mann

The Mann husband-wife duo are a Perry favorite so of course, they will come together as a package, only that it's father-daughter dynamics between the two. Tamika is known for 'Madea Goes to Jail' (2009), 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman' (2005) and 'Meet the Browns' (2008). She has been married to David Mann since June 9, 1988 and they share four children.

'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' premiers on Wednesday, September 2, at 10 pm ET/PT only on BET.
