Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living' Episode 8: Is Mama Leah biased? Fans say she's 'getting mad at the wrong child'

After a solid laugh courtesy Episode 7 of Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living', fans went back to being mad at the creator and his new sitcom once again for taking the focus off of Mr Brown (David Mann) and his daughter Cora (Tamela J Mann). While we're still unsure whether she is still his daughter or Grandpa Vinny's (J Anthony Brown), there's another parent-daughter relationship on the show causing quite the stir among fans and not the aching with laughter kind. The case in point is Sandra's (Tayler Buck) mouth running at her mother constantly without Leah (Courtney Nichole) doing anything about it, while she keeps going off at her son Phillip(Alex Henderson) for the smallest things. So as to not seem biased, Leah needs to 'slap the girl in the mouth' believe fans.

Sandra has been having a hard time adjusting to their new move to Georgia. It's not been easy to give up her social life back in Chicago and reenter this mess that is her dad's grandfather's dilapidated business venture, but unlike Phillip, she isn't keeping calm about it either. Her dad Jeremy (Na'im Lynn) has lost his job, but Sandra doesn't seem to care. Things get worse when her mother Leah tells the siblings about getting enrolled in a school thus making the move more permanent than they were hoping it was going to be and Sandra freaks out. Something that has fans very, very displeased because that is just not done.

Taking it to Twitter, a viewer shared: "Sandra is a typical teenager with a jazzy mouth and bad attitude." Another complained how "I hate the little girl’s attitude. Her mom needs to put her in her place just ONE good time. WHERE IS MADEA?!"

"Am I the only one waiting for the mama to slap the girl in the mouth on #AssistedLivingBET?" asked another fan. A fourth one asserted "You know what that little girl is about to get pop by her mom!!" 



 



 



 



 



 

Pointing out some facts, another fan pointed out the sheer bias in the ways Leah treats Sandra and Phillip. "Wow. She ready to knock Phillip out and he only said one disrespectful thing. Meanwhile Sandra talkin all kinds a crazy to Leah and shoved and just threatened her a little bit. She gettin mad at the wrong child," they wrote.

Tyler Perry's A'Assisted Living' airs every Wednesdays at 9 pm only on BET.
