'Game of Thrones' is preparing for another lion's share of the limelight with HBO's 'House of the Dragon' premiering on August 21, and one of the houses set to return in the prequel is House Lannister. Jefferson Hall will play the twins of House Lannister: Tyland and Lord Jason. The Lannisters make an appearance in the form of Jason (Jefferson Hall), Lord of Casterly Rock, and his twin, Tyland (also played by Jefferson Hall), who is a calculating politician.

Hall who has previously played Hugh of the Vale in 'Game of Thrones,' is back to play two different, but related characters. With 'House of the Dragon' set almost 200 years prior to the plot of 'Game of Thrones,' the prequel is expected to showcase the main family of interest, the Targaryens, engaging in the 'Dance of the Dragons.' House Lannister still remains a prominent family and last name in this prequel. Fans and critics are waiting to dive into George R R Martin's fantasy world witness and take in all that they can from it. The 10-episode series will probably take the internet by storm.

Who are the Lannister Twins?

Lord Jason Lannister held several titles and positions of power. He was the Lord of Casterly Rock, the Shield of Lannisport, the Warden of the West, and the head of the House Lannister. Tyland Lannister, Lord Jason's younger brother, is a knight from House Lannister. He served on the small council at King's Landing, as master of ships for Viserys I Targaryen, as master of coin for Aegon II Targaryen, and as Hand of the King for Aegon III Targaryen.

In 112 AC, Ser Tyland and his older twin, Ser Jason, vied for the hand of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen without success. Eventually, Tyland was named master of ships by King Viserys I Targaryen.

Who plays the Lannister Twins in 'House of the Dragon'?

Jefferson Hall plays both the twins in 'House of the Dragon.' Jefferson is an English actor, who, as mentioned previously, already starred in 'Game of Thrones.' Jefferson is no foreigner to fantasy series, he has been part of the cast of 'Vikings.' Jefferson plays prominent roles in 'Tenet' and 'Star Wars.' Jefferson Hall is just one of the seven new actors on the cast like Emma D'Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, and many more.
