Michael and Samantha featured in the second episode titled 'Love in the time of Corona' on the show 'True Life Presents: Quarantine Stories'. This episode focused on the effects that the global pandemic had on romantic relationships. Micah and Sam had been friends for a long time and their relationship was always platonic but they decided to change it up in quarantine and decided to start hooking up with each other. In due course, Sam started to fall in love with Micah and the latter started having thoughts that she had sex with her best friend because of boredom. In the end, things boiled over as Micah's anxiety wasn't helping their scenario and Sam wanted more out of their relationship. This skewed up things and was adding more pressure to their already strained dynamic.

Things were really fun and spicy between the two when they were living at Micah's however once they moved to Sam's relatively smaller apartment is when the differences started showing up. Micah felt the need to put distance between himself and Sam and started thinking about everything that happened between them. Sam was annoyed and frustrated as the lack of intimacy that had developed since they moved to her place was not something she expected.

In the midst of all this, she also had a pregnancy scare but the differences between her and Micah were too prominent. She felt like he had blocked her out completely and this was the reason she spoke about her pregnancy scare to another best friend of hers since she couldn't muster up the courage to speak with Micah about it. Another reason that she did not have a conversation with the latter on this matter was that she didn't want to trigger his anxiety.

The test came out negative and this is when Sam decided to confront Micah about their situation. They had another blow-up this time as well when Micah said that he considers her as a friend while Sam argued they were more than that. Their argument concluded with Micah expressing that he'd like to return to his state and that's what he ended up doing later. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that the once best friends have not spoken to each other since the time he left her house and Sam has moved on and gone ahead to date different people.

'True Life Presents: Quarantine Stories' airs Wednesday nights at 9 pm ET only on MTV.
