WASHINGTON DC: A brawl erupted in front of the Supreme Court between pro-transgender activists and masked neo-Nazis on Saturday, April 1, despite the cancellation of the "Trans Day of Vengeance" in the aftermath of the mass shooting in Nashville. Only a small number of participants from both sides of the transgender culture battle showed up after the event was canceled as a result of pro-trans activists' warnings of a "credible threat to life and safety."

The man in the red shirt, who was holding a sign that read "Revolt Against F****try 1488," a combination of two well-known Nazi code numbers, confronts the two men in the masks in the footage, which was recorded by a reporter for The Post Millennial. One of the masked men holding the sign warns the man that "f****ts like you will try to get my job taken away" as he is confronted by him. Several people begin to fight over the big sign before the man in the red shirt and the man in the mask start fighting.

'Knife! Knife!'

The man in the red shirt shouts "Knife! Knife!" at the beginning of the fight as a police officer subdues the masked neo-Nazi man he clashed with. He then gets tackled by another masked neo-Nazi man and shouts, "Get him off me!" At least one individual was apprehended in relation to the altercation. It happens the day after a transgender advocacy group canceled its scheduled "Trans Day of Vengeance Rally" due to a "credible threat to life and safety."

Why was Trans Day of Vengeance Rally canceled?

The Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN) said Thursday that attacks on social media have prompted them to decide to cancel the rally that was scheduled to take place on Saturday in Washington, DC. The protest was scheduled to take place in front of the Supreme Court, but TRAN reported that it had to be canceled due to "astronomical amounts of hate from the world."

Was there any connection with the Nashville shooting?

A transgender Nashville shooter named Audrey Hale recently massacred six people, including three children, at her old Christian school. The organization insisted that it had absolutely nothing to do with the "heinous act" and noted that the event had been planned weeks in advance of the shooting. The incident originally sparked outrage on social media, with Twitter removing thousands of tweets supporting and denouncing the incident because vengeance "does not imply peaceful protest," they said.

'We will continue our efforts to protect trans lives'

"The safety of our trans community is first priority. This threat is the direct result of the flood of raw hatred directed toward the trans community after the Tennessee shooting," TRAN declared in a statement announcing the cancellation of the program. "Individuals who had nothing to with that heinous act have been subjected to highly serious threats and blamed only because of their gender identity." They added, "This is one of the steps in genocide, and we will continue our efforts to protect trans lives. While we wholeheartedly believe in the mission and message we put forth for trans day of vengeance, we must prioritize the safety of our community and the people that make it up. In an ideal world we would have continued on in defiance of the attempt to silence our right to free expression."

Meanwhile, the internet has reacted to the video captured and posted by The Post Millennial writer Savanah Hernandez with most users dubbing the incident "rehearsed." A user tweeted, "That looks incredibly staged." Another user wrote, "REHEARSED! REHEARSED! REHEARSED!" One person mentioned, "How come the red shirt guy didn’t get arrested?" Another user claimed, "did they just arrest the dude who got attacked." One person noted, "Notice they didn’t arrest the dude in red who provoke the attack. Feds attack feds." Another person penned, "Red was legal target." One user quipped, "Lmao they’re going hard for April fool’s day."
