WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Days before he was accused of infidelity with Raquel Leviss, 'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Sandoval, remarked about "respecting" Ariana Madix. In an interview, the 39-year-old reality television celebrity covered a variety of topics relating to his relationship with his now-ex, Madix, 37. The TV personality recently ended his silence about the rumors that he had an illicit affair with Leviss, 28, and cheating on his girlfriend of nine years.

Sandoval claimed in the interview with Page Six that he and Madix had "been really good about respecting each other" during their relationship. In addition, the reality TV star said that he and his ex-partner have "each other’s backs in a reasonable way...I think it’s just worked." Although Madix had previously stated that she was not interested in marriage, the media personality did say that he was "kind of over" the idea of getting married to her. Madix apparently learned about the "full-on affair" when she went to see Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras perform in Los Angeles.

Sandoval breaks his silence on the Madix breakup

During a Friday performance with his band Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, the 39-year-old 'Vanderpump Rules' star gently brought up his most recent controversy. According to Daily Mail, he and his girlfriend Madix broke up after it was revealed that he had been "hooking up" with co-star Leviss. This past Friday, Sandoval performed with his band at the City National Grove in Anaheim, California, and he made a sarcastic reference to the controversy.

The 39-year-old addressed the audience, "Have you ever been one of the most hated people in America?" according to Us Weekly. A woman in the crowd was heard shouting "Ariana!" in a TikTok video from the concert, to which Sandoval responded, "We love her."

In the most recent 'Vanderpump Rules' season, Leviss was spotted trying to start a new relationship with Tom Schwartz after separating from his wife Katie Maloney after a 12-year relationship and a three-year marriage.

After five years together, Leviss announced her own separation from James Kennedy in January. Kennedy remarked on Instagram, saying, "Hope you all feel as sick as I do," in response to the cheating scandal. "This explains everything."

'She can do better'

Other internet users slam Sandoval for gloating about his "respect" in the midst of his cheating with Leviss. One user wrote, "You’re telling me Tom Sandoval isn’t an unemployed Vegas magician?"
