The official synopsis for the Netflix movie reads, “As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips lead her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation.”
The third and final movie is based on Jenny Han’s book trilogy of the same name. Giving the audience a gist of the last film, the author said, “The third movie really explores what happens when you're in a relationship and then you have all the real-life stuff that comes into play, fans should always be worried" about Lara Jean and Peter. "If I'm doing my job right, you're worried."
Lana Condor plays the lead role of Lara Jean in all of ‘To All the Boys’ movies. The Vietnamese-born American actress made her debut with ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ as Jubilee. Before featuring in Netflix’s hit rom-com, she had gained prominence for her work in films and television shows such as ‘Patriots Day’, High School Lover’ and others.
Noah Centineo is seen as Peter, Lana’s love interest in the movie series. He is an American actor known for his roles in the finals three seasons of the TV series ‘The Fosters’ and the Disney movie ‘How to Build a Better Boy’. Centineo’s film and television credits include ‘The Perfect Date’, ‘Can’t Take it Back’, ‘Jessie’ and ‘Shake It Up’ among others.
It is unclear whether Jordan Fisher would return as John Ambrose McClaren. But in conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Condor teased, "I think there's always room for Jordan Fisher.”
He’s known for acting in films and shows such as ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’, ‘Liv and Maddie’ and the ‘Teen Beach’ movies.
Most of the original cast will be reprising their roles in the final installment.
'To All the Boys: Always and Forever’ is directed by Michael Fimognari, and produced by Chris Foss. The screenplay is taken care of by Katie Lovejoy.
It appears from the trailer that things are going to get more dramatic with the graduation nearing. It also shows Jean making several decisions as she navigates life after high-school. We can expect promposals, long-distance relations and a lot of travel.
