She then cries in terror as the crowd drags her to the ground and beats her savagely. CWBChicago reported that it wasn't yet certain whether the film was from Saturday, April 15, but the clip surfaced online after the incident.

What were the damages caused by the teens?
The incident which is connected to the violent 'teen takeover' of the city that happened during the weekend saw about 1000 out-of-control rioters burning cars on fire, assaulting and robbing people, brawling with police, and damaging property. The woman attack's video was part of a "sort of mix tape" of social media posts that claimed to be about the "large group" incident that happened in the Loop on Saturday night, April 15, according to CWBChicago.
How many arrests were made?
Six minors were among the at least 15 people who were detained in connection with the two days of disruption that had been planned on social media. Reckless behavior was reportedly the most common accusation.
Police spoke out about the weekend's violence on Monday evening, April 17, but they didn't mention the woman's assault in the video specifically, according to CWBChicago. The statement read, "The Chicago Police Department's top priority is the safety and wellbeing of our residents and visitors, including our city's youth."
