Friday night is mostly a movie night and Lifetime Movies makes it exciting like no other, with a fantastic dose of thriller and suspense movies. Lifetime Movie Network is all set to return with its 'Wrong' franchise with its upcoming film 'The Wrong Fiancé'.

Release Date

The film will release on January 8 at 8 pm on Lifetime Movies.

Plot

The official synopsis of the film reads: "When photographer Abby (Jessica Morris) is sent out of town on a job assignment by her boss, Charlotte (Vivica A Fox), she thinks it is the perfect opportunity to get away from her nightmarish ex-fiance, Richard (Jason-Shane Scott.) But, Abby quickly discovers it may be impossible to escape Richard all together."

Born on July 30, 1964, Vivica Anjanetta Fox began her career with 'Soul Train' in the '80s. She eventually continued her career with roles on the daytime television soap operas 'Days of Our Lives' (1988) and 'Generations' (1989–91). Later she appeared in the NBC sitcom 'Out All Night' (1992–93). In 1996, Fox's breakthrough came in and she bagged two box-office hit films, Roland Emmerich's 'Independence Day' and F Gary Gray's 'Set It Off'.

Jessica Morris

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Jessica Morris got her first big role in television on ABC’s ‘One Life to Live’ as Jennifer Rappaport, from 2001 to 2005. In ‘Pool Boy Nightmare’, she plays Becca’s mother Gale. After featuring in ‘One Life to Love’, Morris appeared in ‘Role Models’ as “Linda the Teacher”. She also starred in the 2009 fantasy film ‘Fading of the Cries’. Her next lead role was in the 2014 horror flick ‘Haunting of the Innocent’. In the same year, she played the role of Diane Hamilton in the soap opera web series ‘Beacon Hill’. Morris’s acting credits include numerous films such as ‘Living Among Us’, ‘On the Horizon’, ‘Art of the Dead’ and ‘The Onania Club’. Her notable television movies include ‘The Wrong’ series. 

Jason Shane Scott

Born on December 29, 1976, Jason Shane Scott is best known for his role as Will Rappaport in the ABC soap opera 'One Life to Live'. He too, like Fox, has been a part of several 'Wrong' movies, in addition to other Lifetime films from DeCoteau such as 'Snow White: A Deadly Summer' and 'The Pit and the Pendulum'.

Filmmakers

The film is directed by David DeCoteau, who wrote the foreword for a book titled 'They Came From Within'. It is written by Adam Rockoff and Rolfe Kanefsky.
