Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 15 'The Tower'

If this episode didn't bring you the feels with Daryl and Judith, did Negan get you with his more human side? In the last episode, we saw him open up to Daryl, and that scene was heavy because the duo was definitely an unexpected match. It shaped Negan's character arc for sure, and with this episode, his one-on-one with Lydia revealed a possible human side to him. We don't know if it's a front, we are waiting for him to bash someone's else's head in, but fans took to the scene for sure.

"Negan didn't tell Lydia that her mom was going to kill her. Respect! love Negan becoming more human but I can't forget/forgive killing Glenn/Abraham. #TWD #TheWalkingDead," tweeted a fan.

Negan tried to connect with Lydia, telling her he is sorry about killing her mother, Alpha. Lydia, on the other hand, snapped with her pretty self, "we all wished you’d both died," she said. I mean, she's not wrong but maybe the writers have a Negan makeover in play? This little girl did not hold back, telling Negan that all he cares for is himself. "Daaaammnn Lydia that was harsh. Also loved seeing an awkward not so confident side of Negan. I love this episode so far #TheWalkingDead," tweeted an impressed fan.

It makes sense that the child has an attitude considering the trauma she faced of having an abusive mother and Negan wants her to open up. He wants her to allow herself to grieve a mother that once subjected her to psychotic torture. She's going to explode if she doesn't, and so he says to her, "Hit me, it'll feel good."

How courageous of the guy that took Glenn away from us and pregnant Maggie, sorry, we're still sour about that, but the writers should be proud because the characters arcs are being noticed as a fan tweeted, "The way negan acted with lydia? and daryl with judith? THAT is called character growth #TheWalkingDead."

She refuses at first but then goes all-in with the screaming and beating his chest with her fists which then leads to the sweetest embrace. This is unexpected for Negan but he seems to be coming to a point where he realizes that these people he is with are all the good that's left in this apocalyptic world. It's a wild but welcoming change and he has always been kind to children. Guys, he even cries. "This scene was SO good! love the relationship between negan and lydia  #twd #thewalkingdead @jdmorgan," tweeted a fan.

Dare we say, the man may have a fatherly side and some fans agree, with one tweeting, "@AMCTalkingDead the moment between Negan and Lydia was so touching, I may have screamed 'PAPA NEGAN' at the TV and my husband was not impressed #TalkingDead #amc #TheWalkingDead #TWD #negan #lydia."

"Negan hugging Lydia made me cry a little bit I’m ngl  #TheWalkingDead #twd #negan," tweeted another fan, and we were right there with them.

Damn, Negan, took you long enough to open that heart of yours.
