NBC's 'The Voice' Team Kelly contestants Hello Sunday (Myla Finks and Chelsea Grover), Shane Q and Jake Hoot, talked about the exploration of different genres when on the show. MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) caught up with them to get the deets on working with their coach to perfect their performance and their plans for the holiday season.

Fans got to pick the songs for the contestants to perform during 'fan week' and while Team Kelly nailed their performances, they weren't afraid of the song picks that came their way. Myla from Hello Sunday said, "I would say that there really wasn't a genre that we were scared of or worried about because we feel like, like we did with the song that we got, even though it was a pop song, we slowed it down. We brought a different feeling to the song. So I feel like me and Chelsea weren't really scared of a genre." Chelsea chimed in, "I feel like as artists, you can't be afraid like to do other genres. You have to try different genres and see what works for you. So I wasn't really scared about anything." Hello Sunday sang, 'The Middle' by Zedd, Maren Morris, and Grey during 'fan week'

Shane Q who sang, 'Mercy' by Shawn Mendes and Jake Hoot who sang, 'Every Light in the House' by Trace Adkins, expressed the same sentiments. Shane Q said, "Honestly, I love all genres of music and I feel that I could put my own little 'Shane Q' flavor on anything. I really wasn't afraid of that, honestly, I wasn't."

Jake put in some encouragement and praise for Team Kelly singers and talked about being nervous, "They honestly can sing any genre they want to sing, they're all incredible. I was kinda worried that I would get something out of country. Um. But I had all my shows, I usually very rarely play, you know, just one genre. So I'm kind of putting my own spin on anything, I've been looking forward to that, but I'm glad they stayed in that, that, that nineties country, that's for sure. It's definitely something that's kind of nerve wracking when you're waiting to hear what they're going to pick for you."

Talking about learning from Kelly Clarkson, the 'pitch guru', Myla said, "This week with Kelly, it's been a roller coaster because like we said, she actually gave us the idea to completely change up the song. So there were a lot of things that we had to go through to make it perfect, but I feel like at the end of the week, it all came together, so I'm just glad about that."

Team Kelly gets to explore different things while on this 'rollercoaster' with Shane saying, "She's pushing me to my limits to bring something out of me that I haven't shown on stage yet. I think slowly but surely is coming out. Give me another week and I'll show a little more."

Jake too confirmed having a hectic week, "The week has definitely been a whirlwind. I mean, you just try to tell people what you did the day before is almost impossible because he can't remember what day it was, which, but just like Shane said, you know, Kelly pushes all of us to our limits and it gets us out of our comfort zone so we can better ourselves."

Holiday plans not quite prepared, Chelsea said, "Honestly, I'm just taking it day by day, but as Thanksgiving week is coming up, we just want to hang out with the voice fam and let's get to eatin'."

Talking about cooking plans, Shane kids, "Since we're all still gonna be here, Jake's made the offer to cook some turkeys and macaroni cheese and mashed potatoes. He's bringing all the rolls and the pies." Jake too played along saying, "If I can find me a kitchen somewhere to cook, you know, I'd love that."

Catch the talent filled show, 'The Voice' on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
