Hollywood icon Tom Cruise is known for doing death-defying stunts in his movies. Whether it’s the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise or movies like ‘American Made’, he never backs down from being a badass. The actor is known for doing out-of-the-box things and his impeccable acting skills, but he took his unique style to a whole new level while appearing at the premiere of his upcoming movie ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.

The Paramount movie had its premiere on the Hollywood Boulevard and while the other stars arrived as stars do, Mr. Cruise “felt the need, the need for speed.” The actor stunned everyone at the premiere and arrived there in a helicopter-like a true-action star. The premiere event was being held at the retired aircraft carrier USS Midway and the actor’s helicopter landed on the edge of the vessel. Without any guesses, he himself piloted the helicopter.

Cruise came out of the helicopter wearing a black tuxedo and a grey time. He waved at the fans and also joked that taking an UBER for the entrance would have been really simple. As soon as the video of Cruise arriving in a helicopter surfaced online, fans just could not help but appreciate the actor for being one of the greatest action stars of this generation.

One of the fans wrote, “Tom Cruise knows how to bring the astonishing things from the big screen to reality.” Another social media user wrote, “You can always count on Tom Cruise to make an interesting entrance!” Meanwhile, one of the fans said, “I miss these kinds of Movie Premieres. Big!!! Bombastic!!! Makes Hollywood seem bigger than life. Yea sure Marvel has their red carpet premieres, but they aren't anything like a Jerry Bruckheimer movie.”

“There is no other actor like him,” wrote another fan. “Only @TomCruise could arrive at the red carpet in a helicopter, that's badass,” said another one. “Tom Cruise is awesome! I liked that he arrived at the #TopGunMaverick premiere in a helicopter! I agree that is showmanship,” said another fan.

Another fan wrote, “That's a perfect Tom cruise entrance.”

As far as the premiere is concerned, the entire cast of the movie is present at the vessel. Meanwhile, in the background, we saw the helicopter branded with the film's title as well as the actor's name in large letters.

It’s been more than 35 years since the original ‘Top Gun’ was released in May 1986. In the new film, the ‘Mission: Impossible’ star will be seen reprising the role of Maverick, who has purposely dodged an advancement in rank after thirty years of service. The movie recently had its premiere at Cinema Con and it received universal acclaim from the viewers that were present at the screening.
