Hallmark 'Heart of the Matter': 5 things you didn't know about Aimee Teegarden
Hallmark 'Heart of the Matter' revolves around Andie Hodges, an accomplished young cardiologist, who prides herself on giving her patients the best of care. But the accidental death of Henry, a young patient of Andie’s with an intellectual disability, leaves her shaken and doubting her ability as a doctor. As she mourns this loss, she is further depressed by an encounter with Henry's enraged mother Gladys, who makes her doubt her professional prospects.
Andie begins to question her romantic relationship with Patrick, who has been sympathetic and supportive of her, as a malpractice lawsuit looms over her as she faces potential punishments from the medical review board. But as Andie and Gladys learn to accept their losses, they discover that acceptance leads to hope.

Aimee Teegarden
Aimee Teegarden is a native of California. She began acting at the age of ten. When she was 16, she was cast in her first television series on the Emmy-nominated 'Friday Night Lights,' playing the role of Julie Taylor. Teegarden starred with Daniel Sunjata and Piper Perabo in the ABC sitcom 'Notorious,' and has previously been in 'The Ranch,' 'Robot Chicken,' and 'The Rookie.' She previously appeared in Hallmark Channel's 'A New Year's Resolution' and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries 'Once Upon a Christmas Miracle.' She starred in The CW's science fiction romance drama series 'Star-Crossed' in 2014.
Teegarden is a fitness fanatic who ran a half marathon with Team Nike and competed in the 2016 Chicago Spartan Race. She is also a member of the Oceana host committee and a supporter of No-Kill Los Angeles (NKLA), a Best Friends Animal Society initiative to reduce the overcrowding of dogs and cats in Los Angeles city shelters.
Gail O'Grady
Gail O'Grady, a multiple Emmy-nominee who was born in Detroit and now lives in Los Angeles. She has appeared in feature films, television movies, miniseries, and series television. Gail most recently appeared in ABC's 'Fresh Off The Boat,' as well as CBS's 'Code Black.' She previously featured in the CW series 'Hellcats' and had a recurring role on ABC's 'Revenge.'
In feature films, O'Grady has collaborated with some of the industry's most renowned directors, including John Landis, John Hughes, and Carl Reiner, as well as starring alongside a number of legendary actors. She starred alongside Ellen Burstyn in 'Walking Across Egypt,' 'Bette Midler in That Old Feeling,' Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth McGovern in 'She's Having a Baby,' and Rob Schneider in 'Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo. 'The Right Girl' and 'All I Want for Christmas,' both Hallmark Channel Original Movies, featured Gail O'Grady recently.
Chandler Massey
Chandler Massey and his two younger brothers were born and brought up in Atlanta, Georgia. Massey traveled to Los Angeles in 2009 to attend UCLA and pursue his ambition of being an actor. He auditioned for and landed the part of Will Horton on NBC's daytime serial 'Days of Our Lives' in December of that year, after finishing his first quarter at UCLA. Massey received four Daytime Emmy nominations and three wins for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series during his first four years on the show. Massey received his fifth and sixth Emmy nominations for his portrayal as Will Horton on 'Days of our Lives' in 2017.
