‘The Outpost’ has been one of the most successful shows for The CW and fans absolutely love the show for its engaging storyline and amazing characters. The first part of Season 3 ended with a mind-blowing finale in March 2021 and viewers cannot wait for their favorite characters to return on the screen once again.

The third season ended with quite a cliffhanger. In the aftermath of all the chaos, the United were all cured. Falista (Georgia May Foote) is revealed to be alive while everyone, included Zed (Reece Ritchie), Wren (Izuka Hoyle), and Garret (Jake Stormoen), bends the knee to Talon (Jessica Green) as their new queen. On the other hand, Two and Three looks on from a nearby hillside, the black and white kinjes, now united, zoom through some secret coffin-like structure, where they “release the gods.” The crowning of the new queen has left the viewers with a lot of unanswered questions and viewers would be hoping to get some answers in the upcoming edition.

Part B of ‘The Outpost’ will consist of 13 episodes. Here’s everything we know about the show.

Jessica Green (Talon) and Imogen Waterhouse (Lady Gwynn) in 'The Outpost' (The CW)

Air time and how to watch

According to Futon Critic, the premiere episode of Part B will be airing on July 15 at 9 pm ET. Viewers can download The CW app from Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Apart from that, The CW is also available on devices such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Vizio Smart TV, Chromecast, Android TV, AirPlay, Apple TV and Xbox One.

Plot

The death of Gwynn will surely shake things up in a major way. As a result of her death, Talon is now the queen, but that doesn’t mean that all her difficulties will be gone. Her claim to the throne will not be going unchallenged and she might have to prove her worth once again.  However, the biggest threat for Talon and others is that the gods are now awake and they will be looking to some drastic changes in everyone’s lives.

The biggest responsibility of the makers will be to explain who and what the gods are. The upcoming part might turn out to be the most intense yet.

Cast

All the original cast members are expected to return for Part B of Season 3.

Jessica Green will be once again reprising the role of Talon. Green started her acting career in 2012 with the TV series ‘Lightning Point’. Meanwhile, she made her feature film debut in 2014 with ‘Rise’. The actress also made a cameo appearance in the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ alongside Johnny Depp. Since 2018, she has been playing the role of Talon on ‘The Outpost’.

Izuka Hoyle (Wren)

Izuka "Zuki" Hoyle is a Scottish actress, singer, and dancer. She played Catherine Parr in the 2017 Arts Theatre production of Six the Musical. Izuka appeared in the 2018 film 'Mary Queen of Scots' as Mary Seton, one of the attendants of the titular character. She was also in 2020 film 'Villain' as Chloe Franks, the daughter of the main character and in 2021 film 'Boiling Point'.

Jake Stormoen (Garret)

Jake Stormoen is known for his role as Dagen in the Mythica film series and as Captain Garret Spears in the fantasy-adventure drama television series The Outpost. Interestingly, after making his on-screen debut in 2008 with an uncredited role in 'Step Up 2: The Streets', he went four years without being cast in anything else. He got a big opportunity when he was cast in a recurring role in the show 'Extinct' and then came 'The Outpost'.  He has also done some behind-the-scenes work as a screenwriter and producer. At the moment, he has just two writing and two production credits to his name.

Other cast members who are expected to return include Georgia May Foote (Falista) and Reece Ritchie (Zed).

Creators

The show has been created by the dynamic duo of Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin. Meanwhile, Faller and Griffin also serve as executive producers along with Brett Bozeman, Dean Devlin, Doug Pasko, Jason Dreyer, Jeff Swinton, Jonathan Glassner, Mark Roskin, Rachel Olschan and Zac Reeder.
