'The Masked Singer': Wayne Brady is Mr TV, say fans, will the showmakers give him his trophy this time?

Group C contestants: Broccoli, Jellyfish, the Squiggly Monster and Mushroom will take to 'The Masked Singer' stage for the second time tonight. The playoffs aired last week saw the Lips being eliminated and then revealed as Wendy Williams. It's time for one more contestant from the lot to go home but not before audiences' witness yet another masked celebrity being revealed on the show.

However, Group C contestants would not be the only ones disguised under masks. The preview teased a mysterious mask: Mr TV walking on to the stage. Last week, there was no guest judge joining the panelists Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and Dr Ken Jeong. However, it seems like this week the show has brought in Mr TV to be the fifth panelist and join the other judges and fans are more than sure that it's Wayne Brady.

"Is Wayne back to guest judge and has a mini-performance as TV?" tweeted a fan. "You just gave it away in the video, it's Wayne Brady, my man!" tweeted another. "The tv is absolutely @WayneBrady coming back to guest judge," tweeted another, in response to the show's official page on Twitter asking fans to weigh in on the identity of the mystery singer.

For those who are unaware, Wayne Brady is the winner of Season 2 of 'The Masked Singer'. If the audiences are correct and if it's really Brady as Mr TV, we wonder if there'll be some drama stirred up during the episode. Earlier this year in March, after the lockdown was already ordered and everyone was sheltering in place, Wayne gathered a couple of his 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' cast members on his official YouTube channel for a live video.

Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, Jonathan Mangum and the host of 'WLIIA' Aisha Taylor, along with Brady were part of this video. All of them together were discussing how their lives were affected due to the isolation period and were seen swapping interesting stories with each other and the audience, often answering questions posed by the ones tuning in to the live session.

It was then that a certain Lisa Stanley from the audience requested to see Brady's winning trophy from 'The Masked Singer' which led him to make a startling revelation. "I'm going to put 'The Masked Singer' on blast right now," he began to answer "No, I haven't got my trophy yet and I wasn't invited to be on the third season as a judge, so no, I don't have my trophy, I wish I did, but that's showbiz," he said in conclusion.

All his anger seemed to fizzle out as 'The Masked Singer' Season 4 geared up for release and he also promoted the same with a post on his Instagram feed. "Y’all ready for Season 4 of @maskedsingerfox? The crazy train keeps going and I love it! Can’t wait to see who’s singing this season. I’m telling y’all, I had the time of my life on this show! And, I’m a guest judge this season!" he revealed.

Now the question is will he finally be handed his trophy as he returns to the show, will there be drama if they still choose to withhold it from him, tune in to the episode to find out. 'The Masked Singer' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on FOX.
