'The Map of Tiny Perfect Things' is a sci-fi rom-com dramedy that is based on a short story written by Lev Grossman. It was announced in September 2019 that the film would be directed by Ian Samuels and Akiva Goldsman was set to produce the film with his Weed Road Pictures banner and FilmNation Entertainment. The cast joined the film in February 2020 and after principal photography and the filming began in Fairhope Alabama.

Plot
The official synopsis reads: "'The Map of Tiny Perfect Things' tells the story of quick-witted teen Mark, contentedly living the same day in an endless loop whose world is turned upside-down when he meets mysterious Margaret also stuck in the time loop. Mark and Margaret form a magnetic partnership, setting out to find all the tiny things that make that one day perfect. What follows is a love story with a fantastical twist, as the two struggle to figure out how — and whether — to escape their never-ending day."

Kyle Allen as Mark
Allen is known for his roles as Kyle Campbell in 'All My Life' (2020) and as Timothy Campbell in 'American Horror Story' (2018). He has one release titled 'West Side Story' in post-production in which he will be playing the role of Jet. His other works include 'The Dead Diaries' (2014), 'One Night' (2016), 'The Path' (2016-2018), and '3' (2017).
Kathryn Newton as Margaret
Newton is known for her roles as Abigail Carlson in 'Big Little Lies' (2017-2019), Lucy Stevens in 'Pokémon Detective Pikachu' (2019), Julie in 'Blockers' (2018) and Angela in 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' (2017). Her recent works include 'The Society' (2019), Post Malone Feat. Young Thug 'Goodbyes' video (2019), and 'Freaky' (2020). She has a release titled 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' (2022) in pre-production, in which she will be playing the role of Cassie Lang.
The rest of the cast includes Josh Hamilton, Al Madrigal as Mr. Pepper, Cleo Fraser as Emma, Anna Mikami as Phoebe, Jermaine Harris, Lydia Houston as an extra, Vanessa Padla as an animal shelter employee, and many more.
