'The Good Doctor' Season 3 Episode 16: Lea breaks Shaun's heart again and frustrated fans are 'fed up!'

It's that "we told you so" moment that supporters of Lea are going through right now! Just a while ago we were talking about how most people don't want Shaun and Lea to be together.
We also supported them on the basis that it might not be the right decision for Shaun. But since its the writers and not us who decide the character's fate, it happened.
As we speculated, Shaun went up to Lea and confessed how he felt. He perhaps took the bold step more because Carly asked him to and he loves Carly to the extent that he would take her advice.
Little did he know that he would get rejected by Lea. To make matters worse, this isn't the first time this is happening. Even earlier, Lea had blatantly refused to have any feelings for Shaun. He was quite heartbroken at that time but eventually managed to move on.
A fan who also knows that wonders why the writers had to do this to Shaun and comments, "Leah had already rejected Shaun once; Don't know why they circled back to Shaun and Leah for a double rejection."
Seeing poor Shaun in this state, here's how a fan feels. She says, "Omg! Just stick a knife in my heart and twist it already! Crying face Crying face Poor Shaun Broken heart#TheGoodDoctor."
Another one is a tad frustrated. He says, "I'm so fed up with her; I was Team Carly #TheGoodDoctor Leah won't be with Shaun but blocked Carly who wanted to be."
However, there are also some people who believe that Lea's behavior has a valid reason behind it. "She might be just doing it to save Shaun from more disappointments. It is highly possible that she has similar feelings for Shaun, just like he does."
Adding to that theory, a fan comments, "I don’t believe it one bit though, that’s the reason Leah doesn’t want to be with Shaun. She's scared she has actual feelings. TELL ME I’M RIGHT. #TheGoodDoctor."
