'The Flight Attendant' Episode 4, 5 Preview: Will Cassie find evidence on Miranda after crashing Alex's memorial?
Spoilers for 'The Flight Attendant'
The first three episodes of 'The Flight Attendant' is available to stream on HBO Max. Episode 4 ‘Conspiracy Theories’ and 5 ‘Other People’s Houses’ releases on December 3, 2020, at 12:01 am PT / 3:01 am ET on HBO Max. While we understand you are anticipating the release of the new episodes, wondering what's next for Cassie's case — here's a quick premiere summary.
The three-episode premiere saw Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco), a flight attendant who works on international airline imperial, end up with a dead body next to her in Bangkok. How? She ended up hooking up with Alex, one of the passengers that flew into Bangkok on the flight she was working on. After a romantic, wild, one-night stand, Cassie wakes up, obviously hungover, next to Alex's dead body.
Freaking out — as anyone would — she tries to remember what happened the night before but stupidly ends up cleaning the crime scene, and making it to her next flight to Seoul, South Korea. However, in Thailand, a woman named Miranda (Michelle Gomez) calls into the Bangkok hotel to check on Alex. Of course, the hotel staff finds his dead body and now Cassie has the US State Department and FBI involved heavily.
When Cassie lands in New York, she is greeted by Agents Kim Hammond ('Greenleaf’s' Merle Dandridge) and Van White ('Counterpart’s' Nolan Gerard Funk). During this stressful time, Cassie has a memory — there was another person with her and her dead one night stand during the night of the murder.
While the trailer had already shown us that Cassie goes to Alex's memorial, we're wondering if she'll find more on that Miranda woman over there. In the promo for the upcoming episodes, Cassie is still drinking and unaware of what really happened. However, this time she has what she calls "evidence" — her best friend Annie (Zosia Mamet) calls it trash.
We're thinking that Cassie will find a lot more on Alex soon enough, as the promo also sees her say "I think I might know what Alex was that got him killed". Apparently, Cassie got the evidence after she was chased "by a dangerous criminal". Either way, we're sure we're about out a bit more on the Miranda character and why she was checking up on Alex.
