Nam Vo has been in pain and not because his partner Lolo Jones quit. If anything, it worked as good as a dose of morphine given the constant fights they were getting into lately. Lolo thought he was not being supportive of the intensity she brings to the mix, leading them to lose daily challenges. However, Nam didn't quite agree with that and they continued to bicker.

Amid all the chaos, Nam suffered an injury. At first, fans thought it could be a niggle but the pain intensified over the weeks. And it looks like he has quit owing to medical reasons. After the airdrop task, Nam complained of a shooting pain right up his back and this wasn't the first time.

Maybe there's a chance it began with the muddy brawl task where the men had to wrestle in a water pit to find a relic. Later, he even had a match against Chris "CT" Tamburello, which he lost but not before putting up a tough fight. Could that be when he hurt his back?

We're not sure but just during the next task he had an ambulance picking him up. The trivia challenge was physically and mentally draining. While most gave up, Nam held on to the grids suspended mid-air for the longest time. Unfortunately, he didn't answer as many right questions in that position and so didn't win the task.

"I was holding so long on the lowest stage my arms were totally cramped and after I dropped down the water I couldn’t get out the water, the ambulance had to get me," he had tweeted.

Coming back to his elimination, while there's no official word on it, a Fandom copy revealed that Nam was "medically disqualified" and so, we are assuming that he could be the one to leave during the security breach host TJ Lavin announced last week. Nam isn't the first to leave on medical grounds. Nicole Zannatta suffered an elbow injury, Olivia Jawando was not cleared for further challenges and Natalie Anderson left because she was pregnant.
