'The Bold and the Beautiful' Spoilers: Is Eric going to take Quinn back? How Shauna convinced him to do so
Spoilers for 'The Bold and the Beautiful'
The main drama in 'The Bold and the Beautiful' currently is about Thomas Forrester's (Michael Atkinson) survival chances, but the CBS drama also reminds us that the whole Forrester family has issues to deal with. The focus of the latest episode was Eric Forrester (John McCook) and his relationship with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Now, the two characters have had their ups and downs since it was revealed they were together since 2016. While the pair got married (at first disapproved by his family), they split up and then got together again.
The most recent split came when Eric learned that Quinn encouraged an affair between his son, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and her friend, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) by coming up with a plan to help Shauna file a drunken Ridge’s divorce papers and marry him in a slurring ceremony he doesn’t even remember in Vegas. Quinn did so to thwart Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), whose relationship with Ridge she wanted to destroy. This may have been the final strike for Eric, who is fond of Brooke (and had been married to her at one point).
However, Shauna is rooting for her friend, who had taken responsibility for what she did and apologized to Eric for hurting him. Shauna continues to bat for Quinn, telling Eric that he cannot remove the portrait of him and Quinn like he can't end their marriage -- she believes that Eric still loves Quinn. Eric admits that the house feels empty without Quinn and that he had never doubted her love for him. But he is upset about her betraying his trust. Shauna tells him to look for the good in Quinn, who is like a sister to her. Shauna and Eric go over the reasons that Quinn loves him -- all while Quinn listens from behind a potted plant. Once Shauna leaves and Eric turns back to the portrait, Quinn reveals herself to Eric.
Meanwhile, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) the truth about Thomas's "kiss" with Hope Logan (Annika Nicole). Steffy is in disbelief and she gets more upset when she realizes that Liam plans on staying Hope. When he says that he plans to come clean to Hope, Steffy asks him to reconsider because she does not want her boyfriend, Dr John "Finn" Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), to find out the truth.
And while Liam still wants to stay with Hope, it might not be the same for her. Ridge and Hope discuss Thomas as the latter is undergoing surgery and Ridge marvels that she was there for Thomas when he needed her. Ridge also wonders whether Thomas and Hope could rebuild their relationship.
In the next episode, Steffy can’t help fearing that when the dust settles, she’ll lose both her brother and Liam forever. However, it may just be that Liam will lose both Hope and Steffy as well. Elsewhere in the upcoming episode, Quinn decides it’s time to go big or go home. But when she lays all her cards on the table in an emotional plea to Eric, will her powerful words result in him agreeing to give their marriage another shot?
