'The Bachelorette' Season 18 Finale: Michelle reveals the couple's moms are besties

Michelle took the opportunity to defend the way Nayte was portrayed on the show, while mentioning that both their moms are now close friends

With the final rose ceremony done, it looks like Nayte is now the winner of 'The Bachelorette' Season 18, having swept Michelle right off her feet. Although they had their rough patches, the couple seems to be more in love than ever during the finale, as it is smiles and kisses all around.

While fans still seem to root for Brandon, the newly engaged couple decided that the finale was the perfect time to clear the air about their relationship and the misconceptions that seem afloat.

Michelle and Nayte couldn't stop gushing over each other. As they spoke about their relationship, Michelle cleared the air that the two of them always had a strong bond. Even though Nayte struggled to be vulnerable on the show, Michelle defended him, saying that there was a lot of pressure with the cameras on him at all time. Now, he is honestly vulnerable to a point where Michelle needs to check if she is doing enough for him. Even concerning her mother not being fond of Nayte, LaVonne revealed that her family absolutely adores him and she even read a text he sent to Michelle that made her tear up. To add to it, LaVonne and Nayte's mother admitted to being besties, which had everyone, including fans, excited. To add to it, Nayte was all set to move to Minnesota, as the couple is ready to start their life together.
