Clare and Dale are finally engaged. That part is over and done with and details of it are out in the open for everyone to see. Both of them have shared the photos from the said ceremony that took place on Thursday night's episode of the show which was received with equal love and hatred from Bachelor Nation fans. They both seem to have gotten their happy ending but they've left a huge section of fans offended and this has majorly stemmed from the fact that Clare completely disrespected the rest of the suitors who showed up for her on the season.

Clare had already rubbed the suitors the wrong way after she refused to give any of them a rose during last week's episode. She was upset that the rest of her suitors had dished really hard on Dale during the roast. That was her way of dealing with the resentment she felt after the man who she'd declared her "husband", two minutes after she met him on the show. Host Chris Harrison tried to pick up the pieces and understand why she was actively trying to avoid the rest of the men. He asked her to be honest and own up if she'd spoken to Dale before coming to film. Clare swore on her dad's grave that there was no conversation between them whatsoever and any interaction that happened between them was on the show. At the end of that conversation, Chris told her the show couldn't continue if she'd already settled for Dale.

A couple of minutes after speaking with Chris, Clare stood in front of the rest of her suitors letting them know that she'd found what she was looking for in Dale. This was her breaking up with all of them, and while a lot of them were appreciative of the fact that she was standing there and addressing the situation, some of them weren't. Kenny Braasch, the boyband manager, told her that she owed them an apology for not giving them a fair chance. This was where Clare stood her ground and said, "I won't apologize for love."

Fans of the show, just like Kenny and some of the suitors, are not happy with Clare's attitude. Clare has been receiving a lot of hate from Bachelor Nation fans since the beginning of her season and a lot of them took to Twitter to slam her further after she didn't offer an apology to her suitors.

"She seriously thinks she doesn’t owe them an apology?" questioned a fan. "Can’t blame the guys for wanting an apology, they signed up for a legit season and got this crap fest #TheBachelorette I truly hope Clare and Dale end up happily ever after because this is painful to watch," wrote another. "Hard yes to Kenny playing hardball with Clare - no, she shouldn’t apologize for finding Dale, but in the process, she absolutely *did* disrespect them and their time, and they do deserve an apology for that," wrote another fan. "Clare got so defensive because the guy asked for an apology. Girl calm down. You’re in the wrong this time," tweeted another. "Her apology is all spin and no heart. These men are saving face, but she just centered herself and made herself feel good with no regard for anyone else's feelings EVER," tweeted another fan.
