'The Bachelorette': Katie Thurston's group date makes fans cringe with 'sex talk'
Katie Thurston's sex-positive attitude did help her bag a whole season of 'The Bachelorette' but audiences are already having a hard time engaging and connecting with it. Unlike the last season of the show featuring Clare Crawley and then Tayshia Adams, the audience believes Thurston's season is 'boring'. Despite the presence of fan-favorite Bachelorette leads Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe replacing Chris Harrison as the hosts of this season, there's not much that fans are loving about the show currently.
Thirty-five men had signed up to find love with Thurston and showed up at the Hyatt Tamaya in New Mexico to explore their relationship with her. Fans were expecting this to be a fun season right off the bat because of how fun, woke, and kind Thurston was on the previous season of 'The Bachelor' led by Matt James. She loved sex and wasn't shy about it when she walked into the driveway and greeted James with a vibrator. Her sex positivity was all fun and games until her season started on June 7 and is overflowing with sex talk which is making fans uncomfortable.

'Watching these sex talk dates are always so cringy'
Katie Thurston invited a couple of men on the first group date and the lineup included Mike Planeta, who is a virgin and is saving himself for marriage. The date was about Thurston finding the 'greatest lover of all time' and to determine the same, the men were tested on how much they knew about the female anatomy. Another part of the date also involved men showing Thurston how they'd pull out all stops to prove they indeed could be her greatest lover and it involved some sex talk and it didn't seem to sit well with the audiences.
"#TheBachelorette Watching these sex talk dates are always so cringy. So much second-hand embarrassment," tweeted a fan. "I am positive that all this sex talk is getting to be a little HARD to take. I never thought that I would say that, but here we are and we are only 20 minutes in. #TheBachelorett" another fan tweeted. "#TheBachelorette I honestly think the show has to stop with all of the sex talk. It’s cringe and not everyone is comfortable talking about it on national television. It’s also not even entertaining," wrote another fan on Twitter.
