'The Art of Passion' is quite the captivating tale. The Lifetime flick is not only about a woman exploring her sexual side but also about her growing self-confidence and self-love after she stumbles upon the man of her dreams. It highlights her righteousness, which is quite amusing although it does get her in trouble. It surely has a specific target audience who loves watching thrillers.

The movie shows a steamy relationship blossoming over time and how Katie Reese's character peels off like onion shells. It has twists and turns making it an edge-of-the-seat encounter and some really hot scenes that might want to make you a grab for a glass of ice water. ER doctor Hope Williams (Reese) is of a shaky personality and lacks the confidence of facing life and living it. She is shy and has an unexplored sexual side. Things change after Daje (Victor Alfieri) enters her life. Hope starts treating her patients better and enjoying life. Adding to this, her sex life heats up, She loves and craves passion, attention, and his touch. However, the movie is also about how Alfieri's character gives her a sense of hope and support every time she needs it. If you love dramas that serve as borderline thrillers, this one's definitely worth it.

Daje is everything her past lovers weren't, and he helps her discover a side to herself that she never knew existed. It is fun, adventurous, and full of surprises. As Hope’s sexual life steams up, her work takes a turn for the worse when an abusive husband of a patient blames her for his troubles. Soon, her personal life becomes entangled with her work life, and both are put at risk.

The concept of Hope acting like a knight in shining armor for her patient is a little predictable but it does highlight her personality. She saves a patient from her abusive and horrendous husband who starts haunting her. Reese has done a good job for her first featured film as has Victor Alfieri, along with their other cast members. Christie Will Wolf has done a splendid job of writing and directing it. The movie really stands out for its gripping screenplay and the actors have done justice to it. The 1 hour 40 minutes movie is interesting in its own way with a twist in the end. Although the movie has a lot of steamy scenes, it is just not about that it is also about love, compassion, and protectiveness, but also highlights the concept of how domestic abuse is still prevalent. Lifetime's 'The Art of Passion' deserves your attention.

'The Art of Passion' is streaming on Lifetime.
