'The 100' Season 7 Episode 15: Fans ask how everything can be wrapped up, worry there won't be a 'good finale'
Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 15 'The Dying of the Light'
There is just one episode left in 'The 100' and it is bittersweet. Like many other viewers, we are wondering how one of The CW's most anticipated final seasons came to this. The seventh and final season of 'The 100' began well -- save for the disappearance of Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) in the first few minutes -- and we had some truly great episodes this season. We are especially thinking of the Octavia Blake-centric (Marie Avgeropoulous) second episode, 'The Garden'.
It has been quite a bloody season. We have lost Bellamy, Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic), Gabriel Santiago (Chuku Modu) and unfortunately, in the most recent episode, we have nearly lost Madi Griffin (Lola Flannery) in one of the most triggering scenes on the show, one which felt quite exploitative. Everything is a mess. There are people stuck on Earth. Emori (Luisa D'Oliveira) is dying with things not looking good for her. We don't even know where Echo (Tasya Teles) and Niylah (Jessica Harmon) are. Bill Cadogan (John Pyper-Ferguson) has the code, which he tortured Madi to a vegetative state to get. The Last War is most certainly coming.
So how will it end now? There is just one episode left, and while the episode will run for one extra minute, can 'The 100' even manage to bring everything together to give us a satisfying ending? Given the way everything has gone this season, fans are doubtful, and rightfully so.
One fan wrote, "How THE HELL are they going to wrap everything up in 1 episode? Will Emori live? Where are Echo & Niylah? Will the gang on earth get back to Bardo? Who will take the test? What is happening in Sanctum? Will Clarke go all Wanheda on Cadogan’s ass? WILL SHEIDHEDA EVER DIE? #The100." Another tweeted, "i really hope the season finale of #the100 will be commercial free. given what i’ve seen tonight, i really don’t know how everything will be wrapped up in 1 episode hope there’s action, i wanna see blodreina and wanheda!"

Some fans have already given up. One fan tweeted, "We can't even have a good finale #WeDontWantThe100Prequel there's too much left just to wrap in 1 episode... even with the extra minute! #The100."

It's a pitiable end to what has been a show that has brought out the most in viewers and while the various fandoms within the show's fan community had become toxic, everyone was still looking forward to how 'The 100' would end. We do not have to wait long now and hopefully, fans will be able to take away some form of closure.
'The 100' airs on The CW on Wednesday nights at 8/7c. The series finale will air on September 30.
