‘Temptation Island’: Fans look forward to Ashley rejecting Casey after he buys an engagement ring for her
Casey is pulling out all the big guns to win back his girlfriend, Ashley H on ‘Temptation Island’. The previous few episodes saw Casey experiencing heartbreak after watching his girlfriend get intimate with Ben. We have to give Casey credit for not being a quitter, despite everything he has seen and Ashley’s scathing video message, he still decided to fight for his relationship and win her back instead of accepting defeat and moving on.
On the latest episode, we saw everybody going on an overnight date to get to know the singles better before making their final decision during the bonfire about who they’d leave the island with. Since Casey already made up his mind to leave the island with his girl, his overnight date with Rachel was spent in a rather interesting way. He took Rachel out for engagement ring shopping for his girlfriend.
Fans had a double-cringe moment when they saw him taking his date to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend who is smitten by another guy. Apart from cringing, fans were also gleeful at the prospect of Ashley turning down Casey’s proposal. A fan tweeted, “Casey is capital D douche. Taking one girl to buy a ring for another girl. I’m gonna laugh when Ashley H drops the ring back in his lap and tells him to get lost #TemptationIsland”. Few fans had an issue with Casey’s intention of proposing to Ashley itself.
