‘Temptation Island’: Casey cries his eyes out for Ashley H, and fans say 'he brought it on himself'

After watching his girlfriend Ashley H's video message on the latest episode of 'Temptation Island' Casey had an emotional meltdown, but fans aren't feeling sorry for him.

Poor Casey, he just can’t seem to catch a break. In the previous episode, he had to sit through the bonfire watching a clip of his girlfriend – Ashley H in bed with another guy. While that did break him, he kept hoping that she’d feel guilty and they’d be able to get past it and carry on with their relationship.
 
Sadly for Casey, Ashley H seems to have grown and evolved during her stint on the show. She is now a more confident and stronger person than what she was when she first walked in. She now understands her self-worth and what she deserves and is proud of it. So, when it was time for Casey to watch the video message from Ashley H, he was hoping that she’d be all guilty and repentant about her actions.  

What Casey witnessed on the video was the complete opposite of it. His girlfriend (who we might as well call ex-girlfriend at this point) appears all happy and cheerful. She makes it very clear in her message that she doesn’t regret any of her actions and is glad to have come on the show for she has evolved as a better person. The icing on the cake being she doesn’t even utter “I love you” in the message. This leaves Casey feeling down in the dumps, and we see him curled up into a ball and crying his eyes out.
 
Fans, however, aren’t feeling sorry for this guy as he revealed just a few episodes ago that he didn’t care if Ashley broke up with him, and also his reaction to her video message was him feeling jealous and insecure about the new guy and unhappy with her newfound confidence. A fan tweeted, “Casey is such a fake bitch. All of that because she looked happy with someone else. Im glad she saw through that shit. He's very manipulative. #temptationisland”. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “Casey is basically upset bc he didn’t think she could ever move on. He thought she loved him way more than he loved her & bc of that he didn’t put any effort in keeping her #temptationisland”. 
 

Several fans are refusing to even believe that his feelings and tears are genuine. A fan wrote, “Lmao it took the entire episode for Casey to finally produce 2 fake tears at the very end #TemptationIsland”. Another fan commented, “Casey take your fake ass tears elsewhere. Cancelled. #TemptationIsland”. “Lmao casey red af. Nobody feel for you with ya narcisstic ass”, expressed a fan. Another fan pointed out how Casey brought this all upon himself, “Casey is gonna self destruct. He got comfortable and complacent in his relationship. He coasted. Did the bare minimum. Then when reality hit, he realized he hasn't done enough. And now it's come back to haunt him. I feel bad but he brought this on himself #TemptationIsland”.
