'Teen Mom OG': Maci hints Mackenzie isn't helping, claims ex Ryan Edwards was ‘100% not sober’ at son's party
Maci Bookout was excited to celebrate her son, Bentley's birthday but one thing she was worried about was Ryan Edwards coming to the party. Since she has a two-year restriction order out against him, he would not be able to come close to her or talk to her. While Ryan was trying his best to be there for their son, it seemed like the awkwardness in the room made it hard for him to get comfortable.
After coming back home, Maci sat down with her friend and spoke about Bentley's birthday party. She revealed that Ryan was '100% not sober'. Maci pointed out that Ryan's behavior made her question if he was going down the path that he did a year ago. She further hinted that the cycle would keep repeating if he did not take ownership of what has happened in the past.
Maci also hinted that Ryan's wife, Mackenzie Edwards may not be doing everything in her power to make sure he does not lead the same life as he did before. She expressed to her friend how Ryan would be in a better position if someone close to him asked him how he was doing and tell him that it was alright if he needed some help.
Fans were also quick to agree that Ryan did not seem alright. "Ryan is clearly still using. We know his wife doesn’t give AF, she married him & let him get behind the wheel while he was outta his mind so I don’t expect anything different. His parents are in denial & Maci is over it. When does this cycle end?" read one comment.
Another added, "I thought it last week that Ryan is NOT sober at all. Especially when he lashed out at Larry. Then watching him drive on tonight’s episode. Thought he was gonna fall asleep again." Another fan echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "You can’t tell me that Ryan from teen mom OG still isn’t getting high."
While Ryan has hinted that his behavior is affected by what has been happening between him and Maci', fans seem to think otherwise. Will this stretch things too thin between the pair?
