'Ted Lasso' Season 3 Episode 11 Review: Ted finds solace after mom Dottie Lasso's surprise visit
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Apple TV+'s sports comedy, ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3 explores the love interests of several characters. As one of the most memorable and moving episodes, Episode 10 attracted a lot of viewers. Episode 11 deals with themes of forgiveness and reconciliation and moving on with life without regrets.
In the latest episode, titled 'Mom City,' Ted runs into his mother, Dottie, on his way to work. Meanwhile, Isaac, Colin, and Will visit Nate at the Taste of Athens and ask him to return to AFC Richmond, but Nate declines the offer and instead works as a waiter at the restaurant after learning that Ted didn't invite him back. Ted takes Dottie to work with him and introduces her to Rebecca and the Richmond players. Sam, Roy, and Jamie attend a press conference before the big game against Manchester City the week before last, but Jamie gets overly nervous. The episode ends with Ted wanting to say something to Rebecca, but along the way, the roles get reversed one last time. The surprising thing about the episode is that Ted finally gets Beard to forgive Nate and invite him back to Richmond.

Dottie Lasso’s arrival
After the arrival of Ted's mother, Dottie, Ted is confused and upset. She has booked a trip to London for Mother's Day to spend time with her son. Although she wanted to make sure Ted was okay, she didn't give him a heads-up that she was coming. On an ordinary day, Ted was leaving his apartment to go to work when he saw her sitting on a bench. Her arrival came as a bit of a surprise to Ted, as he sensed something was wrong, but he didn't broach the subject until he said a combination of words - "Thank you and f*** you," followed by the problems they had been having for years. Also, Dottie was loved and welcomed by everyone in Ted's life, including Rebecca, the Richmond players, Coach Beard, and even Mae. Dottie also got to talking about Ted's panic attacks and asked him if he still suffering from them.
Well, Dottie was humorous and funny. She was admired by everyone and made them laugh. Even Rebecca got all excited and happy when she saw her. Rebecca hugged her tightly and even showed her around the club. Dottie spent hours with the Richmond players gossiping about Ted's embarrassing stories. At the same time, Ted was completely distracted by her arrival, constantly worrying that something was wrong. Although he acted like a good son, taking care of Dottie and making sure she didn't get into trouble. Still, there was something that worried Ted after his mother arrived. Obviously, there were problems between the two that needed to be resolved, because forgiveness is bigger than hatred.
How did Dottie and Ted reconcile?
Dottie wanted to spend her last day with Ted after being in London for a week. It was Mother's Day, and the episode was about forgiveness and reconciliation with loved ones. At dinner, Ted finally confronted her mother and asked her what was wrong, to which Dottie replied that she just wanted to spend time with him. In reality, Dottie was worried about him because he was struggling with panic attacks after his divorce. Suddenly, Ted hit her with the words, "Thank You and F*** you," followed by what she did for him and how hard she acted. He complained that she did not tell him how she felt after his father left her. Also, Dottie tells her that she wanted to say something that had to do with Ted's son. He misses him terribly and Ted gets emotional and cries while Dottie hugs him. As much as Ted was dreading Dottie's arrival, it was revealed to him that part of his life problems would be solved by reconciling with her mother.
