'Suits' Season 9 Episode 9: With just two episodes left, can Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams beat Faye?
These couple of weeks are going to be bittersweet for 'Suits' fans, confronted by the fact that the story of Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams is coming to an end, but it is going to end with a bang.
This, of course, involves a major showdown between Faye Richardson (Denise Crosby) and the senior partners of the firm, which we are promised in the very next episode.
Titled 'Thunder Away,' the upcoming season nine episode nine of USA Network's 'Suits' will see one final attempt made by Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl), Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and, wouldn't you know it — Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams), to take Faye down.
In a promo for the episode, we see Mike telling Samantha that there is no one else than them to go up against her, and it is exactly what they are going to do.
We will see Samantha suing Faye for unlawfully terminating her, potentially with Mike as her lawyer. Obviously, the whole firm is behind her, especially Harvey and Louis, who both want her gone as soon as possible.
However, what they do not see coming, is Faye turning the tables, and hiring them to represent her. Will prioritizing their "client's" interest cost the firm their one shot at getting rid of Faye?
Thankfully, they have two associates Faye has more or less been sleeping on — Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull) and Alex Williams (Dulé Hill). To her, these two are the meekest partners of Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams and can be easily coerced into following her orders.
However, she underestimates just how loyal they are to the firm — as we keep hearing over and over again, it is their family.
In the upcoming episode, we see them covertly working with Mike, and even though we hear Katrina tell Mike that she is not going collude against her own firm, we know she will find a loophole to help Mike out without actually breaking the law. We will find out how, when 'Thunder Away' airs on Wednesday, September 18.
