'Suits' Season 9 Episode 8 promises Mike's final return to save Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams
The ninth and final season of USA Network's 'Suits' is well underway and after this week's 'Scenic Route', it looks like the show is going on a short break. We know that this season, unlike its predecessors, will have only 10 episodes, and in the coming three episodes, they will have to wrap up all the storylines.
Darvey fans got their happy ending right at the beginning of the season, with Harvey (Gabriel Macht) finally realizing that he loves Donna (Sarah Rafferty), and starting a relationship with her.
However, there are a few other major storylines that the show needs to address before they close shop. How Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams will find its way back to the top is one of the biggest questions that need to be answered.
It seems like the senior partners at the firm have finally come to the realization that following Faye's (Denise Crosby) rules is the only way the firm can survive. When Samantha (Katherine Heigl) fabricated evidence to win a case against Mike (Patrick J Adams) and got fired for it, this point was driven home. Everyone has decided to sit tight and let the storm that is Faye pass.
Mike's return this season was met with a lukewarm response, because not only was his visit short, he made things worse for his first work home before leaving. Fans were left wondering why he came back in the first place. Fear not, turns out 'Suits' is far from done with Mike.
Adams has made it clear time and again that he wants to be a part of the final moments of the show, and is certainly going to be there for it, hopefully, to save the firm from Faye's iron fist.
A spoiler suggests that he may advise Katrina (Amanda Schull) to collude against her own firm. Now, we know Katrina to be more ethical than anyone else at Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams, and so if Mike were to suggest something like this, surely it is for the safety of the firm.
We hope that Mike will return in season nine episode eight of 'Suits', but we do know when the episode will be aired. Be sure to check this space for the release date of the upcoming episode.
