LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Colin Farrell has swooned fans with his charming portrayal of a private detective in Apple TV+'s latest mystery series 'Sugar'.
'Sugar' made its grand debut with first two episodes releasing simultaneously on April 5, 2024, leaving fans engrossed with Olivia Siegel's (Sydney Chandler) disappearance case and John Sugar's (Colin Farrell) relentless pursuit to crack it.
After establishing John's capabilities as a private detective in the first few moments of the pilot episode, we are introduced to the series' main plot where he takes up a high-profile case involving a prominent family in Hollywood.
John, hired by Jonathan Siegel (James Cromwell) has to locate his 25-year-old missing granddaughter, Olivia Siegel, before time runs out.
When is 'Sugar' Episode 3 releasing?
After the release of two episodes on April 5, 'Sugar' will have one episode releasing every week until its conclusion on May 17, 2024.
As per the schedule, 'Sugar' Episode 3, titled 'Shibuya Crossing' will be available on Apple TV+ on April 12.
Those with a subscription to the platform will be able to stream 'Sugar' without any hassle. One can also purchase Apple TV+ membership at $9.99/month.
What to expect in 'Sugar' Episode 3?
In 'Sugar' episode 2, John Sugar identified the person who was found dead in Olivia's car.
He also learned that Olivia's disappearance might have something to do with a young woman named Carmen Vasquez, who was raped and murdered a few weeks ago.
Meanwhile, he also had a brief interaction with Olivia's step-mother Melanie Matthews which ended abruptly due to Melanie's odd behavior. John concluded that Melanie knows something about Olivia but is afraid to share.
In the upcoming episode, we may witness him pursuing Melanie further to find clues that could boost his investigation.
The official synopsis of 'Sugar' Episode 3 reads, "Melanie and Sugar get caught in a dicey situation-- and make a new enemy. Sugar reunited with old friends, but he senses some are keeping secret."
