'Stay Close' on Netflix: 5 things you never knew about Richard Armitage
Netflix's 'Stay Close' follows the story of three people living comfortable lives, all of who have dark secrets from their past. Megan, a working mother of three; Ray, a documentary photographer who is stuck in a dead-end job; and Broome, a detective who seems to be stuck in a missing person's cold case.
If you're an ardent lover of the chills and thrills, Netflix's 'Stay Close' should definitely be on your 'to watch next' list. The plot of the movie is eerie but mysterious enough to keep things interesting; the ideal mix, no doubts there!

Richard Armitage
Born and raised in Leicester, England, Richard Armitage is an English actor, who discovered his love for acting during his time attending Pattison College at Coventry. Armitage graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and later sought theatre work as a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
Armitage had his breakthrough in 2002, with his role as the ever so charming John Standring in 'Sparkhouse', a three-part BBC miniseries, alongside Sarah Smart. He also had guest roles in 'Cold Feet', and 'Between the Sheets', and later landed a role as Steven in 'Frozen'. In 2004, he rose to stardom with his role as mill-owner John Thornton, in 'North & South', which aired on BBC, in 2004.
Cush Jumbo
Cush Jumbo is both an actress and writer, by profession. Jumbo is best known for her famous role as attorney Lucca Quinn in the legal drama series called, 'The Good Wife', as well as the CBS spin-off series, 'The Good Fight'.
She has also starred as DC Bethany Whelan in the crime drama series called, 'Vera', and Lois Habiba in the third series of the 'Doctor Who' spin-off, called 'Torchwood'. Jumbo won the Ian Charleson Award for her work on 'As You Like It', and also received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her role as Mark Antony in 'Julius Caesar'. In addition, Jumbo both wrote and starred in the one-woman show called 'Josephine and I', about Josephine Baker.
