Spyridon Voulgarakis: 'We Spy Coffee & More' worker arrested for illegally filming men with spy cam in restroom
TARPON SPRINGS, FLORIDA: A coffee shop employee was arrested for hiding a camera in a restroom to record male victims. At present, officials are seeking out anyone who has visited and used the male restroom in the 'We Spy Coffee & More' shop in Tarpon Springs, Florida since February 13.
Spyridon Voulgarakis was taken into custody on Saturday, March 11, and has been charged with battery and video voyeurism, as per the arrest affidavit and a press release reported by Law and Crime.

Victim's statement of discovering the hidden camera
In the arrest affidavit, police wrote, "The victim was a customer of ‘We Spy Coffee & More’ located at 505 Dodecanese Boulevard," and added, "While using the male restroom at the business, the victim discovered he was being video recorded by a camera placed underneath the sink."
The officers stated the person explained that the phone was found recording and facing the toilet. Police wrote, "The victim advised the phone captured him using the bathroom," and added that the victim took the phone, gave over the device, and showed the clip of him using the restroom.
According to documents, the defendant admitted to authorities that he placed the camera there and recorded men who used the restroom, including the victim who found the phone. Authorities stated, "Post Miranda, the def [sic] advised he placed his phone in the bathroom, under the sink, to record men he found attractive," and added, "The def advised he knew it was illegal to record people using the bathroom."
Authorities seek victims who have used the men's restroom
The defendant has also confessed that he has recorded approximately 10 people who have used the restroom. An officer wrote, "I reviewed the video and I observed that the def surreptitiously recorded the victim in a private bathroom which captured his genitals for the purpose of self-gratification."
Promising that identity of the victims will be kept confidential as per Marsy's Law, the investigators seek any victim who has used the 'We Spy Coffee & More' restroom since February 13. "If you’ve been to “We Spy Coffee & More” since February 13th, 2023, and used the male restroom and feel you may be a victim please contact Det. J Melton at 727.938.2849, Case TS23-6590,” wrote the authorities.
