'Southern Charm' reunion started off on a dramatic note. Usually, it's host Andy Cohen who does all the pot-stirring but this time he didn't even have to ask the questions and before you know it a few cast members were ready to come at each other with wild accusations. 

Sparking a huge controversy, Craig Conover alleged that Madison LeCroy flew to Miami to "sleep with a married man" who is also an ex-MLB (Major League Baseball) player.

While she straight away denied those allegations, the reality TV star did admit that a former baseball had DM-d her and that was the last of their interaction. "He contacted me, and yes, we DMed, but other than that there was nothing … I’ve never seen him [or] touched him," she said and demanded she be put on a lie detector test. While everyone was taken aback, Danni Baird had the best reaction: "What is ex-MLB player?" No sooner did the allegations surface, there was quite a lot of speculations on social media.   

Why it can't be Alex Rodriguez

Do we know who he is? Fans have come up with a number of names and one of them also happens to be Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez. The 45-year-old, however, has been happily dating Jennifer Lopez since 2017 and they were planning to tie the knot soon. The allegations about him seem to hold no truth. 

"Word on the street is that the ex MLB player is A. Rod. #SouthernCharm," one fan commented, while another shared: "I don’t think the alleged ex-MLB player is A ROD. He isn’t even married currently? #southerncharm."

"Who is this ex MLB player they are talking about?? Whoever it is im VERY proud of my girl Madison. #SouthernCharm #SouthernCharmReunion," a user pointed out, to which another replied: "Allegedly A Rod." One posted, "I absolutely believe Craig over Madison about the ex MLB player. #SouthernCharm #SouthernCharmReunion." 

Who could the ex-MLB player be?

"Really? Who doesn't know what MLB stands for? Was it Jim Edmonds? #SouthernCharm," one said and another posted, "So who is the "married former MLB player"? Married is reiterated by Andy and he is accurate, so no, it's not ARod despite all your guesses. #SouthernCharm."

A third wrote, "It’s on bravoandcocktails IG stories. It’s Andruw Jones," adding, "There’s some speculation it was arod but it looks like it was more likely Jones." It's clear fans don't know much about MLB players as one even went on to write, "Is Kristen's husband not the MLB player? I dgaf about sports."

Whatever the case may be, we cannot confirm the gossip at this point as it's purely speculation. Here are the other guesses floating around on social media.
