'Shark Tank': Did guest shark Kendra Scott deserve Byoot deal? Here's why fans are demanding she be replaced
Aside from the quirky new products and services we are exposed to on ABC's award-winning show 'Shark Tank', one of the biggest pulls of the show is the invaluable advice and insights that the sharks provide to the entrepreneurs. Although sharks like Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary and Barbara Corcoran have been slammed in the past for being very rude toward the entrepreneurs, yet there's no denying that when these sharks begin doling out suggestions or advice, they are extremely practical and put the entrepreneur on the track of success.
Aside from the regular sharks like Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Mark, Kevin and Barbara, there's a new guest shark brought onboard every season. One of the biggest perks of having a new shark is their fresh take on the pitches and also we get to learn about their entrepreneurial journey and experiences. In the past, the guest sharks included Rohan Oza, Alex Rodriguez, etc and for the ongoing Season 12 Jewelry designer Kendra Scott has taken on the coveted spot of guest shark. But fans are unfortunately not happy with Kendra's performance on the show and are demanding the shark to be replaced with another guest shark.

‘Shark Tank’ Season 11: Fans find guest judge and 'Kind Bar' owner Daniel Lubetzky's story inspiring
On the latest episode of 'Shark Tank', the founders of Byoot Company, Elyce and Nathan Billany, walked into the tank seeking $50,000 for a 30% stake in their company, which manufactures swimsuits with buttons. When Nathan and Elyce began discussing how they came up with the idea of launching Byoot and their inspiration, Kendra immediately jumped in and began talking about herself and her jewelry business. The guest shark kept trying to find commonalities between her experience and the Byoot founders. Kendra may have assumed that she was being relatable and helpful while she was discussing her personal stories unfortunately, fans didn't feel the same way.
Fans were tired of hearing Kendra talk endlessly about herself and began calling her out for it. A fan tweeted, "#sharktank That Kendra Scott loves to talk about herself." Another fan wrote, "Can @KendraScott ever talk without mentioning herself? #SharkTank." "Whenever #KendraScott is on, she spends more time talking about herself. Okay, Karen. #SharkTank," echoed a fan.

Although Elyce and Nathan came in seeking $50,000 for a 30% stake in their company, Kendra felt that taking 30% from them was too much. So she tweaked her offer to lending the couple $50,000 as a loan at 10% interest and a 5% stake in the company in exchange for her advice. Elyce and Nathan accepted Kendra's deal and left the tank feeling over the moon. Fans were happy to see the couple get the investment, but were sad that it was from Kendra.
"Glad she got a deal, but not the biggest fan of Kendra Scott. Guest sharks like her often feel the need to share too much of their own personal stories throughout the whole episode. #SharkTank," expressed a fan. Another fan shared, "I wish they would get a different shark to replace Kendra as a guest shark because she never ever says anything actually insightful, very redundant, and always about herself lol #sharktank."
