Trust him to find something else to blame his own degenerate, destitute self on. But speaking of tough finances and struggling to make ends meet, all of that will unfold in the upcoming Episode 2 of this ongoing Season 11, titled 'Go Home, Gentrifier!'. The all-new Episode 2 of 'Shameless' Season 11 will air in just a week's time on December 13, at 9 pm only on Showtime. 'Go Home, Gentrifier!' doesn't have an official synopsis yet, but we have drawn some speculations based on the teaser the network aired shortly after the season premiere ended.
Based on the clip, it looks like Frank's new son-in-law Mickey might finally have some sense knocked into his brain after that open-hearted pep talk from husband Ian. In that, Mickey finds himself a new way to earn money by going back to an old scheme he had tried and tested in the past.
With weed being legal in Chicago on the show's current timeline, Kev and V have taken to their bar to sell weed gummies, brownies, and a million other variants of marijuana-infested snacks. Naturally, with the risk of getting robbed so high, they need to up their security detail. For that purpose, and also to make sure that people don't approach the front door of 'The Alibi' too often for the police to have a whiff of them staying open for business under the current guidelines for bars. And this is where Mickey comes in.
Remember when Mickey had just married Svetlana and decided to use the upstairs accommodation of the Alibi to offer a workplace for the escorts accompanying her? Around almost a decade ago, when the situation called for both Micky and Kev to join teams for a little extra cash with V being pregnant with twins, Kev ran the risk of getting robbed. In fact, he once did too. That's when he went to Mickey to buy a gun and eventually called him on board to provide security against future threats.
And by the looks of it, Mickey is going to resume that position to get himself some sort of employment. We've missed the violent, maniacal Mickey a little too much and the showrunners have now granted what we were craving all along in the final run of the Showtime dramedy. There's also Frank ready to offer his help in Kev and V scoring the best of products for their new business to flourish, so maybe this could become another Gallagher-Ball family thing?
Speaking of the two families, tension will rise when Debbie and V get a little too competitive with their daughters' in pageantry, and of course, there will be some Carl business to go down super early in his cop journey.
