With Fiona out of the picture for over a year now, one would think Debbie and Veronica would find a common, shared empathy for each other, but not quite. The two's relationship has always been somewhat lukewarm, if not entirely cold. Veronica has seen Debbie growing up and was just as outraged at her older-than-her-age shenanigans as Fiona once was. Yet their differences seem to reach an all-time high all the way in Season 11, with the two engaging in some sort of active rivalry against each other in the upcoming episode. Read on to find out what goes down between the two leading ladies!

The official synopsis of the upcoming Episode 2 of Season 11, titled 'Gome Home, Gentrifier!', says: "It’s Franny’s birthday, and with Tami and Sandy’s help, Debbie prepares to throw her the best princess party Franny never wanted." All of that goes calm and quietly with small tantrums here and there between the mother-daughter up. It is only when the prospect of a local pageant comes up that sh*t goes down between Veronica and Debbie.

The case in hand is the Miss Southside competition where little girls are participating to be the clear representative of the community the Gallaghers and the Balls live in. So naturally, while Veronica believes her twins Jemma and Amy are perfect for the spot Debbie thinks nobody could be better than Franny at representing the south side. Thus begins the tussle between the two and as Sandy points out, it's going to be a shit show. Nothing good can come out of Debbie pitting against the most loyal Gallagher allies and a tussle with Veronica means war with her husband Kevin too. and with Frank now actively helping the Balls with inventory for their edible enterprise, there's no dearth to the absolute nuisance and menace he can shower Debbie with if she were to be on Frank's opposition.

Elsewhere in the episode, "Ian is on the straight and narrow which forces Mickey to get a real job. Frank the weed connoisseur helps Kev and V with their struggling pot business. Lip’s home renovations run him into some trouble with his new neighbors. Carl’s first day on the force is not the vigilante fantasy he thought it would be. Liam profits from kids who find themselves in lunch debt due to a tyrannical lunch lady."

'Shameless' Season 11 airs on Sundays at 9 pm only on Showtime.
