'Servant': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything you need to know about M. Night Shyamalan's psychological thriller on Apple TV+

Starring Toby Kebbell, Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free, and Rupert Grint, 'Servant' will be Shyamalan's first major television series since 'Wayward Pines' and is set to release this November

Manoj Night Shyamalan is set to return to television in a big way in a genre he is best known for -- psychological thrillers. 'Servant' was created and written by Tony Basgallop and its first season is set to premiere on Apple TV+ this fall. With big names in its roster, 'Servant' could be the return that Shyamalan needs to catapult him to the success level of 'The Sixth Sense' again. Shyamalan envisions the show to have 60 episodes -- six seasons of ten episodes each, although Apple has not confirmed the whole run of the series yet.

Release date

The first season of 'Servant' will be released on Apple TV+ on November 28th. The first season is expected to have ten episodes.

Plot

'Servant' follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage. Sean and Dorothy Turner lose their child and get a therapy doll to cope with their loss. They hire a nanny, Leanne Grayson, to look after this doll and strange things begin to happen. There is also another mysterious character called Julian Pearce.
